Your first visit
+ What is the Children's Ministry & Nursery like?
Anchor Kids provides a safe, engaging age-appropriate environment for children from infants through 4th grade to learn about Jesus. Each class (Nursery, Pre-K, Elementary) are lead with no fewer than 2 volunteers who have received appropriate training and background checks to ensure a great experience while you are in our worship gathering.
+ How long are services?
Our services are about 1 hour and 10 minutes.
+ What will happen the first time I visit?
If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give in the offering. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the atmosphere, and see if our community is a place you can call home.
+ How should I dress?
There is no dress code at Anchor Church. Most people are dressed casually or dressed to grab Brunch after service. Wear what you like - you'll be fine.
+ Are you going to ask me for money?
No. We don't invite you to Anchor Church for your money. We want our gathering to be a gift to Jesus and to you. We hope you will find this community to be warm, the message to be insightful, and where the coffee tastes great! Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
+ What's the music like?
Every week is a little different. Our music team is an eclectic and gifted group of people. Our song list includes modern songs as well as hymns. What is important to us is that the songs we sing reflect accurately the greatness of who God is and our gratitude for his grace.
